About the event
Meditation teacher Shinzen Young has set himself the task of describing all the ways humanity has cultivated contemplative-based, psycho-spiritual growth. He calls his system ULTRA, the Universal Library for Training Attention. It arranges all the world’s focus techniques into four training quadrants
Appreciate Self and World – Experience the senses with radical fullness.
Transcend Self and World – Contact something beyond the senses.
Express Spontaneity – Develop energy, bounce, and creativity in what you do, say, and think.
Nurture Positivity – Selectively attend to positive emotion, rational thought, positive behaviors, or archetypal ideals. Refine your personhood, and be of service to others.
Enjoy an intro level overview and guided meditations with senior teacher Chris Trani.
