Unified Mindfulness:  Rochester returns to in person meetings with a special event every month or so as a See Hear Feel Mini Retreat.

arrive   8:45 to 9:00 a.m.

9:00  Silent practice begins

sitting meditation, walking meditation 

9:30  Short Intro presentation on Unified Mindfulness

The UM definition of mindfulness -- 3 attentional skills working in harmony with systematic training

What is sensory experience?  How does the UM system organize it for mindfulness?

Moment to moment how-to of UM -- "Noting"

Using optional labels to support the noting

There are no "distractions," only windows of opportunity!!

Themes which will be covered -- the 3 attentional skills (Sensory Clarity, Concentration, Equanimity), body awareness, mindfulness of body emotions, mindfulness of hearing, mindulness of seeing, mindfulness of thinking, exploring the "Rest" theme in any sense modality.
